I met S. exactly 5 years ago in the same place in Helsingor, Denmark, at the wedding of his friends. Being passionate about photography, he appreciated my work and jokingly said, ‘Share your Instagram link, and perhaps I’ll hire you as my wedding photographer.’ Since then, S. has consistently shown appreciation for my photos on Instagram. Eventually, he reached out, asking if I remembered him and if I could capture the magic of their subsequent LGBT wedding in Helsingor.
It’s a remarkable story that has unfolded over the years. Here we are, near the magnificent Kronborg Slot Castle, where the story of Hamlet began, breathing in the salty stormy sea air. I must highlight the style the guys thoughtfully chose colors for their wedding, adding a beautiful autumnal touch to the photos. The ceremony and vow exchange in the city hall were incredibly emotional, filled with smiles and tears of joy.
